August Miracle!

Well this is still the Lords work!
In the mission we like to submit "success stories" and I decided to do one... So here is what I wrote!
"And he said unto me: Knowest thou the condescension of God?
And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children;
nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things."

After a long time of contacting and searching for the people whom the Lord has prepared...
No success was given. With our hearts drawn out to the Lord we continued to search.
Then came this man, as we had just turned around we had seen him, felt the spirit, and we stopped him.
This man was from Serbia. He didn't speak English, Swedish, or any language but Serbian, and that of the Spirit.
Communication was a barrier... and doubt was entering into our minds. But we decided to continue.
Kyrka was the word that he could understand, we invited him to church and that was that.
But wait, he came back to us and brought his wife and 3 children and said his bus card could only take him.
My companion remembered that a less-active spoke his language. We called her and was able to translate our message to them.
This family has come to church every week for the past 2 months. One day, when they came to church the translator wasn't there. But the ward mission leader was prompted to print out the 2nd lesson out of preach my gospel in Serbian. We had him read through it... I was reminded of a sharpening where we were told to MAKE SURE that our Baptismal commitments were straight forward, specific and direct. So, I pointed to one of the baptismal commitments at the end of EVERY chapter. He said DA! (yes). I pointed to "date" and we had decided one for the family of 5. Then came the whirlwinds. Many different things had happened to this family but because of the spirit that they had felt during church, and the Christ-like love that the members showed they could not deny their Faith.
Unfortunately, the Swedish government decided to kick them out of Sweden with a limit of a few weeks. The husband found out that his sister back in Serbia was a member of this church. What comfort that gave to our souls! Because of certain issues they had to leave even sooner and could not be baptized here in Sweden. They will now be going back to Serbia this week, with the dozens of donations recieved from the ward. Miracle after Miracle has happened with this family. Another testimony to me that this really is the work of the Lord. The family will come in contact with the church down there and will each be baptized with a testimony of the Restoration in their native country. They do not know why they came to sweden, they do not know why they have been born and raised without a dime in their pocket, but this they and all of us DO know that "He loveth his children". We are on the Lord's errand! With Prayer and Faith in Jesus Christ, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
Not to mention, the less-active has become active in the church!
Onward Christian Soldiers... Onward!
That was the story! The Serbian family is off to Serbia this week, and so with tremendous hope... They will be married.. and then Baptized!
This weekend was our wonderful New convert Colette's baptism. It was an amazing experience and I only had to baptize her 1 time! It was a blessing! Her confirmation yesterday was offered in French by a member in the ward andthe Spirit was felt so strong.
Li a man from China has recently returned back from vacation and we taught him a simple lesson about the Fall and a need for a Savior... and the humble hearted Li asked us... "You mean.. Jesus Christ did that for ME?" Amazing spirit. And he came to church and was able to see our man Zaki from Afghanistan be given the priesthood.
Surendra from India is still doing great. We had an amazing teach with him over the weekend and we got preached to repentance. He told us that he had been not accepting Baptism because we had apparently never mentioned Repentance to him. But after asking for forgiveness, his real concern was that he needed to feel a mighty change of heart before he was baptized. So we promised him a lesson on Sunday about Repentance, and hopefully he will come to feel this need to be baptized with authority. He was also able to see Zaki be ordained and we know that he was able to feel the spirit. We will be going back to them this week and hopefully things will go well with them!
We also had a great time in Jönköping with my new district leader Ä. Barlow! It was good to see him again and catch up on Växjö! Turns out the Branch President has changed and Marvin (Peruvian guy I baptized) has gotten his Patriarchal Blessing! He is a ROCK!
That's awesome to hear about the cabin and how close it is to being ready and stuff... keep me updated! Fun things!
This week has just been a great week and a real testimony builder for me on how great this Work really IS!
Thanks for everything you do and I love you all!
